Job summary

Essential duties include pre/post inspections, material handling, and coordination with maintenance teams, while adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Trade school diploma or certificate in equipment operation highly desired.
• Less than 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in quarry or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a variety of equipment (front-end loaders, excavators, haul trucks, dozers, graders).
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Load and unload materials and move earth, rock, and other materials as needed.
• Maintain haul roads and work areas for safe and efficient traffic flow.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.
