Standard Construction Co., a CRH Company, is seeking a Quarry Plant Operator to perform a range of laboring tasks including lubrication, cleaning, painting, and material handling. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work under foreman direction, with occasional travel and off-hours as needed.

The position emphasizes maintaining equipment, ensuring safety, and communicating production issues. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, swings).

Responsibilities

• Maintaining aggregate crusher, washer, and surrounding environment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, tire work, mechanical assistance; lifting, pushing and pulling objects.
• Communicating production issues to supervisor or lead person.
• Willing to travel and work away from home when required; may work nights and weekends.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
