Position Overview

The Quarry Laborer will perform various tasks at the aggregate site.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

• Operate equipment safely and communicate safety matters effectively.
• Perform plant repair, maintenance, and fabrication as directed.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• Preferred previous aggregate experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Welding experience is strongly preferred.

Knowledge/Skills

• Maintain a professional attitude with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
• Experience with welding and cutting torches.
• General knowledge of plant maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Basic math skills and common sense understanding.
• Valid driver's license.
