Our client in the building automation and industrial technology sector seeks a Maintenance Technician to uphold strict safety standards while performing mechanical maintenance and welding tasks. The role requires physical ability to lift substantial weights and flexible shifts, including weekends.

The position emphasizes safety and quality in daily production, with opportunities to train others and support safety initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Must be able to work all shifts including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes SAFETY, then QUALITY, followed by PRODUCTION.
• Ensures a safe work environment for self and others at all times.
• Actively support key safety initiatives at the facility.
• Ensure all work areas and equipment are clean, tidy and organized at all times.
• Trains and coaches other employees when needed.
