Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a safety‑focused Utility Person to support daily quarry operations in Kentucky. The role involves housekeeping, moving materials, and assisting with equipment maintenance to ensure a safe, productive site.

You will work outdoors in varied weather and be responsible for following procedures, communicating with the team, and supporting production while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safety and ability to follow established work procedures.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, and outdoor work.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance and quarry operations tasks.
• Dependable team player with strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform site housekeeping and cleanup to maintain a safe quarry environment.
• Operate a haul truck to move materials from the pit to the plant in a safe and efficient manner to support production.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections to support operational reliability.
• Support production activities by moving materials, tools, and supplies as needed.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and operating procedures while contributing to team goals.
