Heidelberg Materials is seeking an experienced Assistant Plant Manager to lead a high-production quarry in New Braunfels, TX, driving safety, efficiency, and profitability while meeting an annual target of around 7 million tons.

You will coach supervisors, optimize production planning, manage costs, and ensure regulatory compliance, partnering with maintenance, sales, and logistics to deliver reliable customer service.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of leadership in aggregates/mining or related heavy industrial operations.
• Experience managing budgets, capital projects, and performance metrics.
• Proven experience developing supervisors and frontline teams.
• Strong safety culture and regulatory compliance focus.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily quarry operations to meet safety, production, quality, and cost goals.
• Coach and develop supervisors and frontline employees for high performance.
• Monitor metrics and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Ensure safety, environmental, regulatory, and company standards are followed.
• Collaborate with maintenance, sales, logistics, and operations teams to plan production and service.
