Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator at the Cave-In-Rock, IL quarry to transport materials and support production across multiple units.

The role is full-time and hourly, with shift work, overtime, and weekend duties in an outdoor, fast-paced setting. You will operate loaders, haul trucks, dozers, excavators and fuel trucks, performing inspections and maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience working in varying weather elements; quarry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mobile equipment as required, including haul trucks and loaders.
• Inspect equipment at each shift and report issues.
• Ensure safe operation and address malfunctions with supervisor when needed.
• Maintain accurate material counts and adjust blends as required.
• Communicate safety, maintenance and production needs to the quarry team.
• Support a clean, safe working environment and assist co-workers as needed.
