Downtown Boulder Partnership in Martinsburg, WV is seeking a Mining Engineer to provide daily oversight and technical support for quarry production, ensuring safe, MSHA-compliant operations.

The role covers mine planning, mapping, production tracking, budgeting, and coordination with maintenance and supply teams. Requires a Bachelor’s in Mining/Geology/Engineering and 3–6 years of supervisory mining experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining, Geology or Engineering (or related field).
• 3–6 years in mining engineering with supervisory exposure.
• MSHA experience and familiarity with heavy industry processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight and technical support to ensure quarry production targets are met safely and efficiently.
• Develop short- and long-term mine plans, maps, and production forecasts.
• Track production, tonnage, inventories, and maintenance activities to meet objectives.
• Coordinate with maintenance and site teams to optimize equipment use and output.
• Manage and supervise Quarry Equipment Operator crew and contractors as needed.
• Support budgeting, cost forecasting, and material handling processes.
