Responsibilities

Note: This is a night-shift position (4pm - 2am).

This non-exempt position performs maintenance on quarry plants, including welding, repair, and fabrication of rock crushing equipment associated with quarry operations. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Physical Demands

Frequently requires the ability to sit, talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands/fingers, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Requires vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

Field settings with conditions such as moderate to high noise levels, exposure to mechanical parts, heights, fumes, airborne particles, weather conditions, vibration, wet/humid conditions, chemicals, electrical hazards, and possibly explosives.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience, not necessarily industry-specific.
• Welding certification preferred.
