Job summary

Warren Paving, Inc. in Salem, KY, United States is seeking a general laborer for quarry operations. Must have prior quarry experience and a valid driver’s license. Duties include shoveling, raking, moving materials, and maintaining the quarry while following safety regulations.

Essential tasks involve maintaining a safe work environment, complying with OSHA/MSHA rules, and performing daily tasks as directed by the Foreman. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to provide proper documentation that you have the legal right to work in the United States.

• Knowledge of basic tools and their uses, basic mathematical and measurement skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication)
• One year of verifiable work experience related to Quarry work
• Able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate objects or controls, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.
• May require sitting for extended periods of time.
• Vision abilities (with correction) include close, distance, peripheral, depth, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Able to climb ladders and to work at heights.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 60 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel and be capable of passing required physical examination
