Job summary

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator at our Boone Quarry West in Columbia, MO. This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move material within the plant.

Hours are 6am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with potential for 55–60 hour weeks. A high school diploma and 1+ years of related experience, plus a valid US driver's license, are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to move material within the plant.
• Inspect equipment for wear and perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.
• Work in a team environment and participate in safety programs.
