Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our quarry operations. You will operate bulldozers, loaders, excavators and more, perform safety checks, and coordinate with the site team to move materials safely and efficiently.

You must have proven experience, a valid certification, and a strong focus on safety and quality. This role requires physical fitness and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, with SRM providing ongoing training and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator, preferably in a quarry.
• Valid certification in operating heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform minor repairs.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• High level of physical fitness and strength.
• Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, excavators and other quarry machinery safely.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
• Coordinate with site management to plan, move materials and monitor operations.
• Adjust equipment settings to meet project requirements.
• Identify maintenance needs to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and report hazards.
• Participate in ongoing training and follow safety policies.
• Work with the team to ensure timely project completion.
