Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a skilled Haul Truck Operator for our Quarry Operations team in Amarillo, TX. The role focuses on safe, efficient hauling within the pit and mining operations, following all safety protocols and PPE requirements.

You will conduct daily checks, perform basic maintenance, report issues, and collaborate with teammates to ensure timely material movement and production schedules. Flexibility for shifts, weekends, or holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in quarry or mining operations.
• Valid operator's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily pre-operational checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Report needed repairs to supervisors.
• Coordinate with team to move materials and meet production schedules.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
• Participate in safety meetings and training.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• May operate other heavy machinery or assist with general labor tasks.
