Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. in Norton, TX is seeking a dependable laborer to support quarry and crushing plant operations.

You will perform manual tasks around the job site, use shovels and hand tools, and assist with clean-up of production areas. You will operate heavy equipment such as a skid steer, backhoe, or dozer as needed, and conduct daily pre- and post-inspections with proper documentation in line with company policies and MSHA/environmental rules.

Qualifications

• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• Experience operating heavy equipment – bobcat, skid steer, haul truck.
• Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Understand basic safety and work instructions.
• Willing to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Complete various manual labor tasks around the job site – including work with shovels, and various other hand tools.
• Operate heavy equipment such as skid steer, backhoe, compactor roller, haul truck, or dozer as needed.
• Perform daily pre- and post- inspections with proper documentation per company policies; maintain equipment as directed.
• Communicate effectively in the role.
• Operate equipment with competency and proficiency.
• Follow all company policies and MSHA/environmental safety rules.
