Job summary

The Princeton Quantum Initiative seeks an Undergraduate Lab Manager to oversee its undergraduate teaching laboratory and help develop quantum teaching tools under an NSF-funded award. You will collaborate with PQI faculty and trainees on research projects, manage lab operations, and support QCURE—an open-access, data-driven program that enhances student engagement in quantum engineering.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of experimental quantum information processing.
• Experience supporting fabrication, development, or operation of advanced tech systems.
• Knowledge of materials relevant to research (silicon, diamond, 2D materials, superconductors).
• Familiarity with data analysis, signal processing, or experimental measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage undergraduate teaching laboratory, including purchasing, equipment maintenance, and user training.
• Collaborate with internal and external colleagues to develop QCURE—open-access, data-driven research program.
• Partner with faculty to provide technical expertise and guidance on project-related initiatives.
