Job summary

This role can be onsite or hybrid for those living within a commutable distance. Strong Python/Qiskit skills and a PhD are highly valued.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• 5+ years hands-on Python and Qiskit programming.
• Fluent in English; able to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in a technical customer-facing role in enterprise software.
• Familiarity with gate-model quantum computing algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements with research clients to adopt D-Wave platforms.
• Advise on use cases, error awareness, and project scoping for quantum workloads.
• Present capabilities to researchers and map potential project ideas.
• Translate roadmap and strategy to executive and technical stakeholders.
• Deliver clear technical guidance across multiple platforms and audiences.
• Build long-term technical relationships throughout project lifecycles.
• Represent the company at conferences, webinars, and events.
• Travel 30%–50% for client meetings, conferences, and training.
