• Design and run experiments on quantum processors to characterize performance.
• Develop quantitative methods for benchmarking and error analysis.
• Investigate error mitigation, suppression, and dynamic circuits for improved computation.
• Collaborate across theory, software, and hardware teams to connect advances to demonstrations.
• Document findings and develop workflows to enable reuse by others.
