Quantinuum in Broomfield, Colorado is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. The role targets senior undergraduates or graduate students in systems engineering or related fields, with hands-on exposure to testing, modeling, and requirements allocation for quantum systems.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s/master’s/PhD in systems engineering or related field
• Graduating on/after 2027
• U.S. Person due to contractual requirements (citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder)
• U.S. government national security restrictions apply

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute tests for next-generation systems, including writing test code, building test pipelines, and documenting results
• Support design, assembly, and validation of test hardware used to evaluate system performance and interfaces
• Create SysML models to support interface control, system architecture, and cross-functional communication
• Assist with requirements decomposition, allocation, traceability, and verification planning
