Job summary

Atom Computing seeks a Systems Engineer to gather, integrate, and track requirements, risks, and timelines for future Atom Computing systems. You will translate scientific objectives into verifiable system requirements, architectures, interfaces, and verification evidence, serving as a technical integrator across programs.

The ideal candidate applies disciplined systems engineering to support rapid iteration and evolving technologies, reporting to the VP of Research Programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of systems engineering experience in multidisciplinary R&D or production environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain functional and physical decompositions of quantum computing systems and subsystems.
• Maintain requirements baseline, traceability matrices, and verification plans.
