Job summary

Conductor Quantum is building quantum superintelligence and creating a scalable, user-friendly platform for quantum hardware. You will work across the full neutral atom stack, from developing calibration for a tweezer array to hosting the platform online for researchers and AI agents.

This is a high-ownership, high-impact role central to our product strategy and growth. Join a small founding team of quantum physicists and ML experts solving hard calibration and control challenges.

Responsibilities

• Atom loading and array assembly: optimize routines from first trapping to a defect-free array, improving loading, survival and uniformity.
• Qubit control and characterization: develop imaging and readout calibration to maintain fidelity as the system drifts; push gates to required fidelity.
• Calibration automation: encode expert tuning into software, create automated calibration loops and recover without a physicist.
• System performance and control stack: diagnose drift and fidelity loss, define monitoring and recovery for the tweezer array; manage timing and per-site depth.
• Collaboration and system integration: work with physicists, ML engineers, and backend developers to unify hardware, software, and data pipelines.
