Job summary

The Monarch Quantum Summer Internship Program invites students to work on cutting-edge quantum technologies. You’ll join multidisciplinary teams and tackle real engineering projects across hardware, software, and system-level development, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-moving environment.

Projects include design and test of opto-mechanical assemblies, laser systems, optical design, robotics, and automated control.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in a relevant field.
• Strong interest in quantum photonics and hardware/software integration.
• Willingness to work in a fast-moving engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and test of opto‑mechanical components and fixtures.
• Develop control or automation software and analyze system performance.
• Collaborate with engineers on laser and optical module projects.
• Document results and present to engineering leadership.
