Quandela in Massy, Île-de-France, France (remote) offers a Source Application Intern position in the Quantum Applications team within hardware engineering. This internship is full-time and remote, providing hands-on experience in spin coherence, dynamical decoupling, and quantum dot experiments.

You will implement optical spin-control sequences, analyze data, and contribute to spin-photon entanglement research while collaborating with scientists to advance quantum information protocols.

Formación

• Pursuing a Master’s degree or final-year engineering degree in physics, quantum technologies, photonics, or related field.
• Solid foundation in quantum mechanics.
• Lab experience in optics, spectroscopy, or experimental physics is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Characterize spin coherence.
• Implement and optimize dynamical decoupling sequences (CPMG-family).
• Investigate pulse timing, rotation fidelity, and excitation conditions affecting coherence.
• Analyze experimental data to extract coherence times and compare sequences.
• Collaborate with team to identify main decoherence sources and control errors.
• Document findings and contribute to spin-control protocols for quantum experiments.
