Quandela in Massy, France, invites applications for an Experimental Measurement-Based Quantum Computing Intern (H1/2027). This full-time internship in the Products team supports quantum applications with remote-friendly work options.
You will contribute to measurement-based quantum algorithms using Quandela's single-photon sources, and assist in lab work and data analysis under supervision of a PhD student.
Experimental Measurement-Based Quantum Computing Intern (H1/2027) at Quandela, Massy, Île-de-France, France (remote). A intern-level full time position in the Products team, listed under quantum applications.
This goal of the project is to demonstrate measurement-based quantum algorithms using Quandela's single photon sources. The single photons are entangled in polarization in a linear optics scheme and generate resource states called cluster states. We send these states through a tomography setup to both characterize and apply measurement-based gates. This project is lead by a PhD student and the intern will be working with her on the experiment and on the data analysis.
The intern will develop their skills in a quantum optics labs. This includes:
A challenging and innovative work environment at the heart of quantum computing. A diverse and collaborative company culture. Opportunities for professional growth and skill development.
At Quandela, we believe that the strength of our team is the plurality of experiences, perspectives, and journeys. We are committed to building a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming work environment. All applications are welcome.
