Job summary

Collaboration with physicists and engineers across various functions is essential, as well as interfacing with customers for leading scientific projects. A Ph.D. in experimental AMO physics is required, along with hands-on experience with quantum hardware. The salary range is $145,000 - $175,000.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in building or operating a neutral atom or a trapped ion system.
• Practical experience with gate-based quantum computers is an asset.
• Ability to provide on-call support for machine and service.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of calibration and compilation approaches.
