Job summary

Blue Sky Innovators, Inc. seeks an experienced on-site technical support professional for quantum science research, covering quantum computing, sensing and communications.

You will support the program manager and help manage technical projects from conception through execution. The ideal candidate has a PhD (or master's with substantial experience) in a relevant field, 5 years in quantum research/computing, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• PhD (Masters with work experience) in Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• 5 years of experience with research and computing in quantum.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn rapidly and lead multidisciplinary research programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support in quantum science research to the program manager.
• Manage execution of technical projects and programs.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and lead in a team environment.
