Job summary

IBM Quantum is seeking a Product Marketing Intern to help make quantum computing tangible for newcomers. You will collaborate with product, research, and sales teams to build engaging demos that highlight what makes the platform unique and better in a fast-changing market.

You’ll help create demo environments and materials, translate complex concepts into compelling narratives, and gather feedback from prospects to refine messaging and demos.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in physics, computer science, engineering, marketing, or a related field.
• Basic familiarity with quantum computing concepts (qubits, superposition, entanglement, gates)
• Strong written communication skills
• Curiosity about the broader quantum computing landscape, including who’s building what and how the market is evolving

Responsibilities

• Help build and maintain competitive demo environments showing IBM Quantum’s strengths in market.
• In particular, showcase integration with hybrid cloud environments to support classical development.
• Translate technical differentiators into demo narratives that stick and are easily understood.
• Partner with research/engineering to identify demo-worthy results and best platform angles.
• Create demo scripts, one-pagers, and FAQs reinforcing IBM's positioning.
• Monitor audience reactions at events and feed insights back to shaping demos.
