Job summary

GlobalFoundries Inc. in Vermont seeks a QPDK Architect to lead the Quantum PDK infrastructure, guiding architecture, governance, and delivery across development, release management, automation, and design enablement flows.

You will drive LEAN PDK initiatives, maintain version control, and oversee continuous improvement of QPDK development processes, QA, and change management, while mentoring the QPDK team.

Qualifications

• BS required in EE, CE, physics, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in semiconductor PDK development or design enablement.
• Experience with source-control, release management, and EDA tool flows.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain architecture for all QPDKs.
• Create QPDKs from existing GF PDKs, balancing reuse and customization.
• Drive LEAN PDK philosophy eliminating legacy content while preserving functionality.
• Own QPDK version control, baselines, branching, access control, and configuration management.
• Define, implement, and improve QPDK development, QA, release, and change-management processes.
• Drive timely QPDK releases through governance, planning, and execution.
• Mentor and perform architectural reviews across the QPDK organization.
