Job summary

PsiQuantum in Milpitas, CA is seeking an hourly Manufacturing Technician to support assembly and testing on a production line, following engineering specs and MES updates. You will work on assembling components, repairing and aligning as needed, and assist with cryogenic and room-temperature systems.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in semiconductor/optical/R&D testing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to wear multiple hats in a startup environment aligned with PsiQuantum's

Qualifications

• Experience in operating tooling.
• At least 2 years of related semiconductor/optical/R&D test experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform material inventory as required.
• Able to work overtime and weekend as required.
• Support sub-assembly testing.
• Install sub-assembly into cryostat.
• Cleave and splice fiber optics cables.
• Utilize hand tools and small parts to assemble equipment.
• Update MES transactions for work completed.
• Prepare daily pass-downs of activities and results.
• Communicate with team and engineering when help is needed.
• Read and follow manufacturing sub-assembly instructions.
