Sandia National Laboratories invites applications for the Gil Herrera Postdoc Fellowship in Quantum Information Science. The two‑year fellowship funds self‑directed research with access to Sandia's R&D projects and partnerships with universities such as UNM, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and more.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Chemistry, or related field.
• Strong research record with publications and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Pursue self-directed research in quantum information science.
• Mentor students and engage with partner universities.
• Publish results in leading journals and present at top conferences.
• Collaborate with Sandia researchers on multi-qubit platforms and experimental design.
