SkyWater Technology, Inc. in Bloomington, MN seeks a Quantum Platform Integration Senior Staff Engineer to drive process integration for superconducting Josephson Junction technologies.

You will advise on process module development, coordinate with engineers, and lead problem solving to advance superconducting offerings. Ideal candidates have advanced degrees in engineering with strong data analysis, DOE and SPC experience, and the ability to communicate complex results to program leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and Master's in engineering or PhD in a relevant field.
• 5–10 years (BS/MS) or 2–3 years (PhD).
• Experience in semiconductor process/fabrication and module development.

Responsibilities

Job description

SkyWater Technology is searching for a Quantum Platform Integration Senior Staff Engineer for our Bloomington, MN site to drive process integration activities on Superconducting Josephson Junction based technologies.

Responsibilities:

Working with external and internal groups on the development of Superconducting processes at SkyWater you will:

• Advise on process module development, process margin improvement, and process control
• Coordinate activities with process & tool engineers to develop process enhancement for Superconducting device features.
• Lead Structured Problem Solving meetings to resolve technology issues
• Define and implement process experiments for development and module characterization.
• Analyze and report results of process module experiments to the team through program review meetings
• Interpret results from physical failure analysis and electrical test data.
• Actively drive the qualification milestones for new Superconducting offerings.
• Interface with Customers on technical requests and challenges.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors & Masters in an Engineering discipline, or PhD in in Electrical, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics or other relevant discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience (Bachelors & Masters) or 2-3 years (PhD)
• Demonstrated knowledge of semiconductor process/fabrication
• Demonstrated experience of process module development, process margin improvement, and process control
• Work effectively as a team member with people from other groups
• Ability to extract, organize and analyze data (both electrical and physical)
• Working Knowledge with statistical analysis tools, DOEs, and SPC
• Able to communicate technical data and results to program leaders and managers
• Self-motivated with a drive to solve problems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Superconducting Materials and Josephson Junctions
• Education: PhD in an Engineering discipline.

The annual salary range for this role is $114,320 - $171,480. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
