Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a seasoned manager to drive the Quantum advanced packaging efforts in Fab9, Burlington, Vermont. You will lead the Quantum Advanced Packaging team to develop cryogenic and superconducting capabilities, including wafer-to-wafer and die-to-wafer bonding, interposers, and related technologies.

Responsibilities include hiring, guiding program planning and execution, and collaborating with vendors and internal teams to meet project goals.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of related work experience.
  • 2+ years of technical lead/management experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
  • Fluency in English (written & verbal).

Job Summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a highly skilled and motivated manager to drive the Quantum advanced packaging efforts in Fab9 (Burlington, Vermont). The role will entail leading the Quantum advanced packaging team to develop various cryogenic / superconducting capabilities, such as wafer-to-wafer (W2W) hybrid / fusion bonding, die-to-wafer (D2W) hybrid bonding, interposers, etc.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
Required Qualifications
  • Education – Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field from an accredited degree program
  • Technical Experience – 10+ years of prior related work experience
  • Management / Leadership Experience – 2+ years of technical lead experience
  • Travel - Up to 10%
  • Fluency in English Language – Written & verbal
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education – PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field from an accredited degree program
  • Technical Experience – 12+ years of prior related work experience
  • Management / Leadership Experience – 3+ years of people management experience
  • Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning & organizational skills.
