Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a construction project support professional to assist Site Construction, Home Office, Site Engineering, and Field teams. You will measure weekly progress using cloud software and maintain budgets, scopes, and drawings with up-to-date revisions.

You’ll help with work-package development and client Project Controls reporting, promoting IFC quantity accuracy and proactive budget control. The role emphasizes learning about site work, concrete and structural installations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in MS Excel.
• Exposure to or basic understanding of multi-discipline construction concepts preferred.
• Familiarity with construction progress measurement and reporting methods is a plus.
• Interest in learning about site work, concrete installation techniques, structural steel installation, piping systems, electrical systems, and process control systems.
• Understanding of construction industry practices, processes, and standards or willingness to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Professional, ethical, and motivated to grow within the company.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Construction Team, Home Office Engineering team, Site Engineering Team, and Field Personnel
• Provide weekly construction progress measurements utilizing cloud-based progress management software
• Maintain tracking system reflecting current project budgets and accommodate for scope changes
• Maintain project drawing set showing up-to-date revisions and progress mark-ups
• Assist project management staff with work package development as needed
• Interface with project control staff for updating client and internal project reports, and schedule progress
• Ensure IFC Quantities are developed and reported to Project Controls
• Develop extensive knowledge of project scope, assist in maintaining control of budget and any deviations
• Work with estimating team to develop labor estimates and load into project tracking system
• Provide periodic audits of site construction progress
