Job summary

Quantity Surveyor position with a large construction/engineering company, based near Waterford. Office-based for most tasks with site visits, reporting to a senior QS/Estimator and handling commercial duties from tender through to final account on live projects.

Between 2 and 5 years' experience preferred; suitable for QS in Wexford/Waterford/Kilkenny area or Dublin-based for relocation. Salary 45–65k, market-led; company emphasises delivery of high standards.

• A relevant third level degree qualification in Quantity surveying or Construction Management.
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Must be commercially & contractually aware.
• Ambitious and committed to deliver an excellent standard of work.
• Main Contractor/Sub Contractor/Specialist construction experience.

The role would be office based for most of the time with some site visits and you would report to a senior QS/Estimator and be responsible for all commercial tasks from tender stage to final account on live projects.

Ideally you will have between 2 and 5 years’ experience with a main contractor or a subcontractor.

Obviously, this role would suit a QS living in the Wexford, Waterford, Kilkenny area or a QS in Dublin looking to relocate closer to home.

Requirements

A relevant third level degree qualification in Quantity surveying or Construction Management.

2+ years’ experience in a similar role.

Must be commercially & contractually aware.

Ambitious and committed to deliver an excellent standard of work.

Main Contractor/Sub Contractor/Specialist construction engineering experience.
