Job summary

Belvedere Trading, headquartered in downtown Chicago, seeks Quantitative Trading Interns to rotate across trading desks and collaborate with Developers and Strategists on research to improve trading systems.

You’ll learn best practices in software development and focus on projects related to trading logic development, electronic trading strategies, and quantitative research, with BTU training and hands-on operations.

Qualifications

• Curious and eager to learn about trading concepts and markets.
• Strong analytical thinking and data-driven problem solving.
• Able to communicate clearly in a team environment.
• Willing to work in person in Chicago during summer 2027.
• Familiarity with programming concepts in C++, C#, Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily trading activities – analyze daily trades and trends.
• Rotate between product groups to gain market knowledge.
• Collaborate on desk strategy adjustments with the team.
• Participate in quantitative research and trading logic projects.
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights.
• Benefit from BTU training and hands-on operations experience.
