Tower Research Capital is seeking a talented student intern for a quant/engineering role in New York. You will design, implement, and deploy high-frequency trading algorithms, analyze market data, and build tools to study patterns in microstructure.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in CS, math, physics or EE, proficient in C++ and Python, with strong Linux skills and a passion for financial markets. Excellent collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in CS, mathematics, physics, or electrical engineering or related fields.
• Proficient in an object-oriented programming language (C++ and Python preferred).
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Interest in financial markets.

Responsabilités

Qualifications

• Majoring in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or related fields
• Proficient in an object-oriented programming language (C++ and Python preferred)
• A working knowledge of Linux/Unix
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• A passion for new technologies and ideas
• The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Interest in financial markets

Preferred Qualifications (not required)

• Past industry experience
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant and/or participation in relevant Olympiads
• Familiarity with machine learning, data analysis, market research and data modeling

Anticipated New York and Chicago weekly base salary range $3,500-5,700.
