Job summary

Old Mission, a global proprietary trading firm with offices in Chicago, New York and London, seeks junior traders. You will trade mispriced securities as part of a collaborative team, performing disciplined decision making, risk management, and derivative pricing while researching new opportunities to contribute to the firm’s growth.

The compensation includes a fully paid benefits package and a discretionary bonus, with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or advanced degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, or one of the hard sciences.
• Proficiency in Python or C++.
• Ability to work and solve problems as part of a team, often in a high-pressure environment.
• Proven trustworthiness and high ethical standards.
• A strong desire for knowledge and to understand how things work.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

About the Position

Our traders work in teams to seek out and profitably trade mispriced securities. The junior traders job responsibilities will include disciplined decision making, risk management, derivative pricing, and researching new opportunities. If you are looking to be a value added member to our team and have an immediate contribution in building out our business.

Required Skills

• An undergraduate or an advanced degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, or one of the hard sciences
• Proficiency with at least one of the following languages: Python or C++
• The ability to work and solve problems as part of a team, often in a high-pressure environment

Base Salary

$200,000 - Salaries are based on numerous factors such as skills, experience, and education. Our compensation package also includes a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits program for full-time employees. For more information, reach out to your recruiter.
