Job summary

Referment is collaborating with a global investment and technology firm to hire software developers for challenging work at the heart of systematic investing. You will design and build software for quantitative research and trading, spanning live data and complex modelling.

You will work with quantitative researchers and engineers to translate requirements into reliable, scalable systems, with a focus on performance, correctness, and maintainability in real-time environments.

Qualifications

Substantial hands-on software development experience with strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, and software design.
Excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability.
Record of high achievement in CS, mathematics, engineering, or related technical field.
Ability to collaborate on complex technical problems and contribute to rigorous design decisions.

Responsibilities

Design and build software for quantitative research and systematic trading.
Develop distributed systems that analyze and respond to incoming data in real time.
Create tools for advanced mathematical modeling and statistical analysis.
Work with researchers and other developers to translate complex requirements into reliable, maintainable systems.
Investigate performance and scale challenges where engineering choices directly affect analytical capability.
