Position: Quantitative Researcher with Machine Learning Experience (Remote)

We are currently looking for a Quantitative Researcher with Machine Learning experience for a great opportunity. The company participates in a wide variety of marketplaces including global futures, equities, commodities, options, fixed income, and cryptocurrencies. Their culture emphasizes teamwork and focuses on continuous integration and test-driven development. This position is 100% Remote.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and enhance Python data science tools and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with trading teams to conduct alpha research and identify trading opportunities.
  • Monitor models in production to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide high-quality, reproducible, and well-tested research tools across the firm.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in mathematics, physics, computer science, or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master's/PhD with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Strong GPA (3.5 or higher).
  • Knowledge of probability, statistics, and machine learning for time-series data.
  • Proficiency in Python; C++ familiarity is a plus.
  • Experience with software engineering best practices, including TDD and CI/CD.
  • Experience with distributed computing and Linux environments.
  • Effective prioritization skills and ability to take ownership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills for collaboration across multiple locations.
Preferred Experience:
  • Practical application of machine learning techniques in trading.
  • Experience with HPC environments like SLURM.
  • Experience with orchestration and containerization tools such as Docker, Singularity, Airflow, or Prefect.
