Old Mission is a global proprietary trading firm with NYC offices seeking a Quantitative Researcher to work directly with traders and research infrastructure. You will conduct research on large data sets to develop alpha signals and contribute to portfolio construction, collaborating to optimize strategies and develop pricing models.

Ideal candidates have an advanced quantitative degree, strong stats, and 3+ years equity trading experience, plus leadership and communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or physics.
• Deep technical understanding of advanced statistical techniques.
• 3+ years of relevant equity trading experience.
• Expertise building statistical models for equity forecasts and deploying them to production trading systems.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, R, Matlab, Ruby, or Java.
• Experience leading a team of researchers, in industry or academia.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
