Job summary

Susquehanna International Group (SIG) invites you to join the Quantitative Research Intern program, where you’ll model work of full-time staff and undergo a robust education program with top mentors. You will have the chance to build alphas on an actual trading strategy and collaborate across multiple teams.

You will be exposed to modelling, execution, backtesting, and evaluation, with hands-on support and opportunities in Philadelphia and New York offices.

Qualifications

• Masters in quantitative fields such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics, or related areas.
• Analytical problem-solvers with strong logical reasoning and data-driven decision making.
• Clear communicators in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Programming experience in Python; C++ or other low-level language is a plus.
• Strategic thinkers with interest in competitive activities, self-motivated and quick to learn.

Responsibilities

• Model market behavior using probability, statistics, and ML to generate alphas.
• Develop strategies and backtest ideas on historical data.
• Execute modelling ideas in simulated environments and refine approaches.
• Explore diverse areas of quant work across Susquehanna’s business units.
• Participate in a comprehensive education program with mentorship from experts.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and gain exposure to different groups.
