About the Role:

The Quantitative Investment Solutions (QIS) Platform at our banking client is a dynamic, cross-asset group building a best-in-class ecosystem to support and grow the QIS business for institutional investors worldwide. With teams in New York and abroad, you will work closely with various stakeholders including Structuring, Sales, Trading, and Quants to deliver innovative strategies and scalable solutions.

You must have valid US work authorization and must physically reside around the posted city, within a 50-mile commute. We are unable to support relocation costs.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and onboard quantitative models for back testing and daily strategy calculations, ensuring accuracy and strong governance.
  • Reconcile and publish daily strategy levels with precision, resolving exceptions quickly and effectively.
  • Design and automate robust operational controls to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Structuring, Sales, Trading, and Quants to deliver seamless strategy implementation and risk management.
  • Contribute to key projects that enhance platform scalability, robustness, and client service.
  • Uphold platform governance and ensure alignment with the bank’s policies.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 1 - 10+ years of professional experience with a solid understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and investment strategies, with strong motivation to build on a career in quantitative strategies.
  • Proficiency in Python (Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) experience is a plus).
  • Experience in a similar environment—risk management, process automation, or project management—would be valuable.
  • Degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong Excel/Office skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to deliver under tight deadlines.

The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $160,000
