  • Model Understanding & Validation: Develop a working understanding of the underlying SAA, optimization and ALM models to integrate into new model builds.
  • AI‑Assisted Development: Using AI as a core part of the build process while ensuring every tool is robust, validated and technically sound.
  • Partnership with Investment Analytics: Work closely with the Investment Analytics team on model design and ensure integration into broader investment platform.

Progression towards CFA and/or ASA/FSA is a plus. Familiarity with insurance asset management, ALM and various regulatory capital frameworks strongly preferred.
  • Investments & Capital Markets Knowledge: Strong quantitative and analytical skills with an understanding of portfolio theory, optimization, capital markets and risk modeling and knowledge of insurance products, ALM, liability‑driven investing and fixed income.
  • Technical Skills: Programming expertise in MS SQL, Python or another programming language required.. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Familiarity with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
  • AI Proficiency: Demonstrated hands‑on use of AI or agentic AI tools to build working prototypes, or clear evidence of the ability to adopt them rapidly. Understands the limits of AI‑generated output and how to specify, test and validate it.
  • Learning Agility: Strong aptitude and genuine interest in learning new domains quickly – including SAA, ALM and insurance investment concepts.
  • Communication Skills: Strong general and technical communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial and mathematical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders, and to document models and tools clearly for users and validators.
