Job summary

RiverSource Life Insurance Company is hiring a Intermediate Quantitative Analyst in Boston. The role focuses on researching and developing stock signals, building alpha models, and refining portfolio construction methods.

You will work with portfolio managers and analysts globally, translating complex data into actionable insights and maintaining analytics platforms. A hybrid in-office schedule is expected in Boston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of direct experience in quantitative investment research, including hands-on development of signals or alpha models.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python or R and experience with large financial datasets.

Responsibilities

• Research and model development for stock selection signals and alpha models.
• Production, monitoring, and enhancement of the team's models in live environments.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts to communicate results and insights.
