Job summary

Voloridge Investment Management in Jupiter, FL, is seeking a Quantitative Developer Intern to join the development team and contribute to software and data engineering projects using open source and off-the-shelf technologies.

The role requires pursuing a CS-related degree with hands-on coding in C#, C++, Python, PowerShell, and SQL, and on-site work in Jupiter with housing/transportation provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with programming languages: C#, C++, Python, PowerShell, SQL.
• Onsite work in Jupiter, Florida; housing/transportation provided where applicable.
• Completion of at least three years of undergraduate study and CS background with emphasis on organization/design.
• Knowledge of data modeling and ETL/ELT pipelines; detail-oriented and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering teams in Research on software and data engineering projects.
• Participate in software development standards and processes.
• Learn the team’s technology stacks and tooling.
• Research best practices in software development for quantitative investments.
• Create/maintain engineering and operational documentation.
