Job summary

Voloridge Investment Management in Jupiter, FL, is seeking a Quantitative Developer Intern to join the development team and contribute to software and data engineering projects using open source and off-the-shelf technologies.

The role requires pursuing a CS-related degree with hands-on coding in C#, C++, Python, PowerShell, and SQL, and on-site work in Jupiter with housing/transportation provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with programming languages: C#, C++, Python, PowerShell, SQL.

• Completion of at least three years of undergraduate study and CS background with emphasis on organization/design.

This role requires the independent application of advanced knowledge in computer science or equivalent field of study. The selected candidate will be expected to exercise discretion and independent judgment, contributing to the design, development, and analysis of large datasets.

We are seeking a Quantitative Developer Intern to join our talented development team to work in a diverse environment of open source and “off the shelf” technologies.

Summary of Job Functions

• Work with engineering teams in the Research department on a variety of software and data engineering projects
• Participate in the team's software development process and standards
• Become proficient with the team’s technology stacks and tooling
• Conduct research on best practices in software development and their application to the field of quantitative investment and present findings to the team
• Create and/or maintain engineering and operational documentation, where applicable

Minimum Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, or related discipline
• Experience with programming languages such as C#, C++, Python, Powershell, SQL
• Ability to work onsite in our Jupiter, Florida office (not a remote role). Housing and transportation provided where applicable

• Computer Science background with an emphasis on computer organization and design
• Knowledge of data modeling methodologies
