DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to scrutinize AI-built financial analyses, validate assumptions, and translate results into defensible judgments for CFO audiences.

You’ll stress-test three-statement models, trace logics, and articulate clear, evidence-based conclusions while maintaining precise English and financial discipline in a remote, flexible engagement.

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.

As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.

What you’ll actually do

• Stress-test AI-built models on real corporate scenarios: three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions, and the working-capital logic underneath.
• Trace the reasoning to expose plugged numbers, broken drivers, and conclusions the model's own math doesn't support.
• Write the defensible analysis when the model falls short: honest assumptions, clear drivers, and a number you'd put in front of a CFO.

Compensation

Up to $40 – $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $10k–$100k+ a year; some make it their full-time income.
