Job summary

Granite River Inc. seeks a Quantitative Options Trader (Junior / Mid-Level) to support pricing, risk management, and ongoing improvement of its OTC options book in crypto markets.

You will work with senior traders to price and manage structures such as covered calls and cash-secured puts, while contributing to automated systems for hedging and risk management, gaining direct exposure to live trading and capital from day one.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in trading, quantitative research, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of options fundamentals (Greeks, Black-Scholes intuition, volatility concepts).
• Exposure to crypto markets and/or derivatives trading.
• Programming experience in Python (required). Familiarity with additional languages is a plus.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and calibrate quantitative models to price options on tokens with no listed market.
• Maintain and improve implied volatility surfaces and pricing frameworks.
• Generate competitive two-way pricing for vanilla and structured OTC products.
• Backtest, paper trade, and analyze spreads, skew, and term structure.
