Job summary

TalentCloud Group seeks an experienced Options Trader in New York. You will run profit-driven strategies across global markets, managing risk and PnL with support from quants and engineers. The role blends hands-on trading with system-building and tooling enhancements.

Ideal candidates have a solid track record in options, strong quantitative skills, and familiarity with pricing, volatility, and risk. Crypto/digital-asset experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in options trading with real PnL
• Quantitative mindset with ability to derive trading decisions from data
• Solid grounding in options pricing, volatility, and risk management
• Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, CS, Engineering, or related field
• Programming exposure (Python, C++, or similar) is a plus
• Crypto/digital-asset trading experience valued but not required
• Self-motivated, results-driven and output-focused

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize options trading strategies across global markets.
• Analyze market data and apply quantitative models to identify profitable opportunities.
• Own risk exposure on your book within the firm risk framework.
• Collaborate with in-house quants and developers to refine trading algorithms and tooling.
• Execute and manage positions with emphasis on execution quality and liquidity.
• Stay ahead of market narrative, macro events, and volatility shifts affecting pricing.
• Contribute to building the firm’s trading systems and technology stack.
