Point72 Asset Management is on the lookout for a Quantitative Analyst to be part of their Portfolio Construction & Analytics Team in New York. The candidate will analyze portfolios, communicate key findings, and contribute to the team’s analytics efforts.

With a focus on enhancing investment strategies through data-driven insights, the role requires 2+ years of related experience and proficiency in programming, like Python.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience in quantitative research, portfolio management, or risk management.
• Experience with statistical models and methods of quantitative finance.
• Ability to conduct independent research and summarize findings.

• Conduct bottoms-up analysis on portfolios to identify strengths and weaknesses.
• Form top-down views on strategies offering the best risk/reward.
• Invent new analytics to quantify skill and frameworks.
