DRW invites interns to join a 10-week Quantitative Trading Analyst Internship in Chicago. You will work on a small team blending technology, research and risk management to identify trading strategies within regulatory frameworks and present results to senior leadership at DRW.

Beyond coding, you’ll engage in market research, apply ML techniques to tick data, and gain exposure to real trading desks alongside senior traders and researchers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in mathematics, economics, physics, statistics, computer science or any engineering related field; expected graduation Dec 2027 - Jun 2028.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with senior traders, technologists and researchers by developing and improving trading strategies on the trading desk.
• Identify and research market research projects using analytic tools.
• Apply machine learning to market tick data for automated trading.
• Handle responsibilities like position tracking, risk calculation, and analysis of theoretical values.
